When I decided to start my blog I wasn't really sure what I wanted to write about. I only knew what I DID NOT want to write about. I didn't want to be some superficial person behind the keyboard dispensing advice regarding stuff I have no clue about, but read five articles and have deemed myself an expert or professional.

It's my The Black album. It's my struggles, my mistakes my advice. It's stories about my unshakable faith
(being mad at him doesn't mean you stop trusting him), imperfect marriage (longevity doesn't equate to perfection) adventures in parenting, my crazy family and irreplaceable friends. Sharing is just me learning and growing. Becoming who God intended me to be. Stepping up and out.
We all have assignments in life that are supposed to make humanity whole. We are supposed to make contributions to this life not just skate through it. We are supposed to make deposits of positive energy into the universe instead of constant withdrawls. Mentor a kid. I will never forget Tyrone Grant and my days spent at the Newark Boys and Girls Club. Become a Volunteer. Back away from social media sometimes and take a walk. Nourish relationships. Make phone calls instead of sending a text. I did that one Christmas and it made my uncles day!! After they determined no one had died. LOLOL!! Apologize to a friend you haven't spoken to even if you forgot who was wrong. ( I did it...I love you Trina!!)
What if everyone meant what they said, behaved like they claimed and gave back as much as they've taken?
So many breadcrumbs have been left. Here are two of my favorites.

So yea, I can post once a week and give paragraphs of meaningless info...like The Blueprint 3.
